Reggeaton

The reggeaton is a musical genre that has its roots in the music of Latin America and the Caribbean. It was developed first in Panama in the seventies and early nineties in Puerto Rico.

The reggaeton has changed during his rise initially influences of reggae and dancehall, currently hip hop elements taken were used.

The letters of reggeaton are characterized by relying on the rhyme to make the song catchy. Many people dislike listening to this music by male chauvinist vocabulary used by some singers in their lyrics, and there are others they love the genre by the introduction of the dembow and rhythm given to dance in nightclubs.
One of the most influential of the genre is Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez, known as Daddy Yankee. He was born in Puerto Rico. He came to fame for the great success of her single 'Gasolina'. It's considered the king of reggaeton and one of the most respected artists of the genre.
